The contestants

Contestant 1

Having lived all my life as a human, doing human things and having human habits, I’d want to be able to shape shift into a peacock. They look amazing, and seem like super social creatures. I’d be given compliments all the time, and I’d have people wanting to take pictures of me constantly. I’d finally know what famous people feel when they have paparazzi and fans taking photos of them. Peacocks also look like they’d be really adventurous birds, and seem full of energy – which I’m sure they need to cope with being everyone’s favourite bird.

Contestant 2

I would shape shift into a bat. They look cool, sleep for hours and hours, and they can hang upside down. I can’t even do a handstand! I bet bats don’t get told off for not doing their homework and for sleeping all the time. Bats can eat up to 100 per cent of their weight in food – when I eat more than my body can handle I feel super uncomfortable and sick. It would be awesome to eat as much as I want – FOOD IS BAE. Bats have amazing hearing too, so I’d be able to hear all the best gossip, as well as find out what people might be saying about me behind my back. Oh, and did I mention? I would be able to fly, whenever I want. Ahhh ... wait, cash me the bat outside howbowdah?

Contestant 3

A panda because:

1. I’d be SO cute! People would love me!

2. I would only have shifted into a panda form, and I’d still be me inside. I could use this to my advantage and tell everyone about the plight of pandas. I could talk to them about how we need to protect our endangered animals and how we need to stop pandas from becoming extinct.

Contestant 4

A dog – but not just any dog ... I’d want to be Dennis Goodboy, aka the YP mascot! Not every kid is lucky enough to receive presents from Santa. I could shape shift into Dennis and bring a smile to the faces of children. Dennis is a bit rough around the edges, and a bit of a misfit, but he’s proof that there’s no shame in that. Just look at how loved he is by the team!

Contestant 5

An onyx werewolf. I always had a weird fascination with cliché fantasy animals. Picture a pitch black coloured werewolf: its fur obsidian, its sensitive ears twitching with the whispers of the night, its intelligent eyes gleaming with silent secrets. Whenever the wind rushes through its sleek fur, it would feel the thrill of the hunt coursing through it’s veins. Werewolves are elegant and deadly – and they put other, mindless predators to shame.

Contestant 6

I would like to shape-shift into a bird. Then I’d be able to spread my wings and fly high in the sky – who wouldn’t want to do that? It would be great to see Hong Kong from a bird’s-eye view. Plus, as a bird, I could fly to all the places I need to get to, instead of walking through the crowds. Walking is so tiring, and I’m so lazy.
