The contestants

Contestant 1

I’m living the life in the Grand Theft Auto 3 San Andreas! The best part is that I’m immortal, so no matter how many close calls I have, I can just revitalise my health and be as good as new. Here in GTA I can do all the things that I couldn’t in reality. Just now, I went on a long drive in my beautiful red – stolen – Lamborghini as the police chased me. I broke into a house. I blasted music in my car as I wrecked the whole city. I mugged a guy. I’m armed with illegal pistols and shotguns. I’ve never felt this powerful and fierce before! Plus, my life isn’t as meaningless after all. I have to complete life-threatening challenges in order to survive here. Oh well, this is crazy fun!

Contestant 2

I’m staying on Spy Island in Poptropica and life is intimidating here. Originally I was given the mission of putting a halt to the notorious and evil criminal organisation, B.A.D. (sounds very bad, huh), as they’re planning to use lasers and a satellite to zap the hair off of Poptropicans all over the island.

Unfortunately, every time I try to reach the B.A.D. control centre, I get hit by the lasers. so I have to start all over again and again. Even worse is that I have to wear the chameleon suit all the time so the villains don’t see me. I certainly hope that Sherlock Holmes will be coming to solve this crime.

Contestant 3

I am in the Telltale Games’ video game version of The Walking Dead’, which is set in the zombie apocalypse of the TV series of the same name. I used to be human, until one night, I woke up to find that my group had taken my supplies and locked me in a barn. While I managed to escape, I died after being bitten by a zombie. Right now, life – I mean, death – as a zombie is going well. Finding food has been fun. Today, my pack and I cornered a small party of travellers that turned out to be my previous group. You should’ve seen their faces when they recognised me! Truly, nothing tastes quite as sweet as revenge.

Contestant 4

I’m in the world of Tower of Saviours, a game I played a long, long time ago. I am leading a Greek god to fight the beast. We have lots of stamina, but the enemy is pretty tough, and if he hits us, we’re dead. Life is challenging but rewarding – when we win.
