Hera Leung Hoi-wah won a bronze medal for Hong Kong in the women's junior road race at the Asian Championships in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand last weekend.

This is her third medal in the junior category of the regional championships following a silver in the scratch and a bronze in the points race on the track.

The 16-year-old beat a group of three other riders in the final sprint as she completed the seven-lap, 57-kilometre race in 1:30:30, just two seconds behind silver medallist Chang Yao of Taiwan. The gold medal went to Yumi Kajihara of Japan in 1:29:30.
