Hong Kong International School crowned Inter-School Football Competition champion

Hong Kong International School was crowned champion at the Boys A Grade Inter-School Football Competition (Division One - Hong Kong Island and Kowloon) at Po Kong Village Road Park today. 

A 1-1 draw resulted from 70 minutes' of fierce competition, which led to a penalty shootout. HKIS won the final with a 4-3 in penalty shootout. 16-year-old Jack Gallagher from HKIS scored the winning goal that secured the championship for the team, and sparked wild celebration from their fans.
 
"We all know DBS team is technically stronger than us, but our defence was solid and physically stronger," said the winning team's captain, Mats Najberg.
