HKU graduate wins Rhodes scholarship

Diocesan Boys' School and University of Hong Kong graduate Geoffrey Yeung Ka-wei has secured the one Rhodes Scholarship available in Hong Kong to study at Oxford University, in Britain.

The Rhodes Scholarship is the oldest and one of the most prestigious awards in the world. Yeung received the award for his "energy and personal commitment to working with disadvantaged members of society, as well as his exceptional academic results", says the University of Oxford's China office.
