Waiting to hear your DSE results can be an incredibly anxious time, so many classmates will get together to support one another. Some of them will hang out with friends on Sunday night, singing karaoke or watching the World Cup final, to distract themselves and stay calm. Others will just go to bed early and try to sleep through the stress. Young Post talked to the winners of the South China Morning Post's Student of the Year awards to find out how they'll be spending "the night before the big day"…

"The night before my results, I'll be taking part in a Youth Exchange Programme in Poland. My parents will receive my results, and email them to me. I'll probably be sitting in the Dubai airport waiting for my flight when I get my results."

"I won't be in Hong Kong on that day, since I'm going to the 45th International Physics Olympiad in Kazakhstan. My mother will go to my school to collect my results, and will email them to me. I would like to study physics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology."

"I don't have any plans on Sunday, because I am freaking out! I will stay at home. I don't want to think too much about the results because the pressure is too much. I plan to watch movies with my friends to try to relax for a couple of days before the big Monday."

"On Sunday night, I'll be at a Latin dance competition in Tsuen Wan. It will take up the whole night, so I'll be going to sleep right after the competition. I'm not planning to stay up. As for future plans, I'm hoping to pursue European studies, hopefully in a university in Hong Kong."
