The Education Bureau has today released a set of "tools" offering support to students who sat this year's HKDSE exams, and will receive their results on July 12. The "Three Useful Tools", as they've been called, comprise a further studies and careers map - a graphic mapping out important dates; the "2017 Compass", which includes useful contacts and key dates; and the e-Navigator, a guide to local educational institutions and programmes offered there.

A spokesman for the EDB said: "We hope students will make good use of the 'Three useful tools for 712' and the flexible and diversified study and career pathways with multiple entry and exit points under the New Academic Structure, to choose their right directions according to their interests, needs and aptitudes, so as to develop and realise their potential."
