Belinda Ng Tian-wing was crowned Student of the Year at a glittering ceremony held today at the Shangri-La hotel in Tsim-Sha-Tsui. The 16-year-old from South Island School student is also a Young Post junior reporter.

In her speech Belinda thanked her school and her parents. She said her one fault was that she struggled to accept her own failings. "If you don't push yourself," she said, "you end up plateauing."
