Teleportation sweets

I would invent a chocolate or sweet that takes you anywhere you want after you eat it. No more buses or MTR! I'm pretty sure everyone would want to buy this sweet.

Rachel Liu Ching-tung, 14, Fung Kai Liu Man Shek Tong Secondary School

Unicorn bubble gum

I love unicorns, so my sweet would be gum that makes you fly and grow a magical horn out of your forehead. It would make life magical every time you chew it!

Lena Kim, 10, Discovery Bay International School

Vitamin chocolate

I would invent a chocolate that doesn't just consist of sugar - it would be really heathy and have a good mix of vitamins and minerals. Imagine how cool that would be - instead of just gaining weight and tooth cavities, you'd get loads of extra nutrients!

Zenna Sultan, 15, The HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No 3 Secondary School

Smart chocolate

I would invent a chocolate that increases your energy and intellectual power. It would definitely sell well because many students want to be instantly smarter just before a test. I would never have to revise ever again - I just need to master food science before I can become a chocolate inventor!

Haley Chan Hiu-huen, 12, Maryknoll Fathers' School

Invisibility chocolate

I think it would be brilliant if there were a chocolate that made you invisible. You would be able to get into places like Disneyland for free! It would be like having magical powers.

Lily Lau Yee-yuen, 13, Immaculate Heart of Mary College

Happiness chocolate

I would invent an "optimistic chocolate" because so many people in Hong Kong are stressed. After they ate this chocolate, they would lead much happier lives.

Marcus Ng Cheuk-yin, 12, Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club College

Box of chocolate life

Remember the line in the movie Forrest Gump: "Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get"? I would create this box of "Life" chocolates with different flavours symbolising the levels of happiness at various stages of life: for example, carefree childhood, wild teenage years, complicated adulthood, and honey-sweet marriage. Painful moments could also be turned into dark chocolate: slightly bitter, but still with sweet bits inside.

Adrian Leung, 20, University of Hong Kong

Medicine chocolate

I would invent a kind of medicinal chocolate to help those who are sick get better. Medicine usually tastes awful, but if chocolate had healing properties, children would be happy to take it. That would save a lot of trouble for parents.

Joanne Yu, 12, Maryknoll Fathers' School

Wi-Fi chocolate

Don't you hate it when you go somewhere and there's no wi-fi? Well, with wi-fi CandyTM, you'll never have to worry about it again! Simply eat a piece of candy and you'll have wi-fi for up to 24 hours! The sweets are also suitable for pets, so you can have your own wi-fi dog.

Sieg Suen, 18, Fung Kai Liu Man Shek Tong Secondary School

Rainbow chocolate

I would invent a sweet or chocolate that changes colour and flavour depending on your mood - blueberry when you're sad, pineapple when you're happy, and so on.

Jade Hoi Lam, 16, Harrow International School
