Getting a kick out of it

I would love to be Garfield. All I would have to do is sleep, watch TV and eat pizza. How fun would that be? It would also be nice to get to know Jon (Don’t worry, I’m also weird) and kick Odie around.

The sky’s the limit

Peter Pan! He is a very interesting character. The leader of the Lost Boys never grows up so he doesn’t have to face any problems. If I were Peter Pan, I would go to a kindergarten, take the kids with me, and embark on an adventure. We would help people solve their problems, and enjoy the view from the sky. We would go to

Neverland to avoid our parents and play games. This is my dream.

A simple life

The manga character, Chibi Maruko-chan. When I was eight years old, I really liked the young girl everyone calls Maruko. I wish I could be like her, enjoying a simple life without too many electronic products, and not too much homework. And I’d be able to play with friends in the meadows. It would be an amazing life!

Suki Kwok, 15, Fung Kai Liu Man Shek Tong Secondary School

Chatting to kitties

Doraemon, because of his funny gadgets. I would be able to go anywhere I wanted, eat anything I wanted, and most importantly, all my dreams would come true! Also, Doraemon loves making friends with cats. I like cats, too, and if I were Doraemon, I could always be with the kitties and talk to them.

A grumpy, lazy egg

I would like to be Gudetama, that grumpy egg. He is very lazy, and doesn’t move unless it is absolutely necessary. I am a very lazy person, too. If I could become Gudetama, I would probably sleep for the whole week, because “school stuff” is very tiring. What’s more, my mum wouldn’t be able
to scold me.

No worries!

Life would be great if I were Patty from the Peanuts comic strip. Then I could sleep during lessons and play baseball every day. Also, I wouldn’t have to worry about my grades, which is what I need to do in my real life!

The beauty of it all

The Beast, because I could fall in love with a pretty girl, Belle. She is the only girl who would appreciate my personality, and my looks would not scare her.

Family power

It’s got to be Princess Genevieve from The 12 Dancing Princesses. The fearless Genevieve and her 11 sisters work together to save the kingdom. In the process, they discover a magical world of dancing. I just love their spirit!

Cassandra Chan, 17, Leung Shek Chee College

Shocking choice

Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter, a well-known cartoon in Japan. Killua can give his enemies an electric shock – how cool! He is also very fast. If I was Killua for a week, I could get more sleep and arrive at school on time. Also, I could play a few pranks on my classmates! :)

Valerie Cheung, 11, Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School

Jumping for joy

Hanamichi Sakuragi, my favourite cartoon character. He is good at basketball. He has great speed and jumping skills. In addition, he is tall and very strong. If I were him, I could slam dunk all week!

Eric Wong, 13, SKH Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School
