Fenty Beauty is here for people of all skin tones, not just the fairest of them all.

Bad Girl RiRi (aka. Rihanna) just dropped her makeup brand Fenty Beauty, and it is AHmazing. Not only are there beauty products and tools, her range is also mindful of the diversity she so proudly represents, and the packaging is adorable but edgy. Well, coming from Rihanna, we'd expect nothing less.

Here are seven things I want - nay, need - in my life.

1. Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

Oh, my sweet seven pound baby Jesus. There are 40 shades to this foundation. Forty! The range goes from very fair, and available in neutral, warm, and cool undertones, to deep milk chocolate brown. To be honest, it can probably expand just a little more to include those who are so fair they border on translucent, and those whose skin is closer to dark chocolate or ebony. But 40 is still impressive, and miles ahead of so many existing makeup brands!

The foundation claims to be a "soft matte, longwear foundation with buildable, medium to full coverage" product that basically makes your face look like there's a filter on it. It's also oil-free and promises to stay put with its "climate-adaptive technology that's resistant to sweat and humidity". Take my money!

2. Match Stix Trio

These are stick/creme formula conceal, contour and highlighting products that are meant to be easy to use, and there are four sets of trios to cater to different skin tones. The conceal and contour "stix" are matte, while the highlight has a soft shimmer, and all boast an "ultra smooth formula" that's so easy to blend, the look is "so seamless, it’s impossible to tell where skin ends and makeup begins."

Easy to use, blends like a dream. Hopefully not just wishful thinking.

3. Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo

I'm such a sucker for highlighters; I honestly don't even know how many I own. I only know I still have room for "just one more."

It's so exciting to see a spectrum of highlights that go from ethereal white to coppery, but since my favourite highlights are always that golden glow that seems to come from within, that you don't see until my face catches the light just right, I'm dying to get my hands on the Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal duo.

Gimme that glow!

4. Cheek-hugging Highlight Brush #120

Well, if I get a highlight I have to get a brush to put it on with, right? It helps that Fenty full-size brushes are a gorgeous petal pink, but this tool has me very curious. Over the past few years, since contour and highlight became a major trend, we've seen so many highlighting brushes appear on the market. From the Nars Ita Kabuki Brush that took YouTube by storm, to MAC's 137 Long Blending Brush, make-up fanatics were all about finding that fabled perfect highlighting brush.

I personally use either the 129 Luxe Fan Brush by Zoeva, or the No.10 Crease Brush from Smashbox, which is actually an eye-shadow brush. But I'd be very curious to put RiRi's highlight brush to the test to see whether it can really expertly highlight my cheeks "for an effortless glow."

There have been many unique highlighting brush designs in the past that's nothing special. Will this be different?

5. Precision Makeup Sponge #100

I don't recall the last time I applied my foundation with a brush. Oh, wait ... yes, I do. And I didn't like the results. I'm a die-hard Beauty Blender loyalist, (the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge comes a close second) so I would love to see whether Fenty's makeup sponge might wow me. The shape of it is sort of like the baby of my two favourite sponges (mentioned above) and it promises to "deliver fast, easy, seamless results every time". I'm one of those people who's always rushing out the door, so if it can do that, I'm sold.

You're brave, little guy. It's hard to beat the original Beauty Blender.

6. Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

Matte lips are so 2016. This whole year, the glossy lip has been making a slow come-back, and when internet trends like glittery lips die out, I think a juicy, high-shine, glossy look will be back, and back for a good while.

For my skin tone (a light to medium tan with warm undertones) it's hard to find a gloss I can throw in my handbag for just whatever. I find without some colour on my lips, preferable as opaque as possible, I can look rather washed out. But this baby looks so delicious and my-lips-but-better I'm tempted to believe it may be the miracle lipgloss I never knew I needed. When you tell me that this ultra shiny rose-fold nude is "the unicorn of nudes that looks good on everyone", I'm going to expect magic!

Gloss is back! But the "perfect nude" is also here to stay. Maybe this is the ultimate combo of the two.

7. Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer

With Hong Kong being so humid, I can't put on make-up without first priming my face. Like the foundation, this claims to diffuse your pores for a filtered look. I don't really care about my pores, but this oil-free primer "smooths away the look of pores, visibly evens skin tone and texture, and instantly absorbs shine without feeling dry or chalky." This means my make-up should stay on for longer, and I won't feel completely grossed out touching my face half-way through the day. Yep. Sign me up.

It's as hard for any primer to live up to its claim as it is to avoid becoming a shiny, oily, grease-ball monster by mid-afternoon in Hong Kong.
