F-Sim Space Shuttle

Ever wondered what it's like to land a space shuttle? This cool app simulates flying a real spacecraft with amazing detail and accuracy. With lush graphics and a wealth of information, Distant Suns shows you what's what in the night sky, and answers all those space questions you've been pondering.

Galaxy Zoo

Become a smartphone scientist! To understand how galaxies have formed, astronomers need your help classifying them according to their shapes. Images come from telescopes and it's up to you to put that galaxy in the right category. If you're quick, you may even be the first person to see the galaxies you're asked to classify.
