Mark your calendars, Otaku Zoners. The annual C3 x Hobby Expo, where local otaku get a chance to let their hair down completely by cosplaying as their favourite manga/anime characters, will run from Friday to next Sunday.
You can visit stalls with the latest new merchandise from Japan, and watch top-quality stage performances such as anisong concerts and hero battle stage plays.
For fans of anisong, organisers have confirmed Kageyama Hironobu, Okui Masami, ChouCho, Annabel, AiRI, Chiaki Ishikawa, Ito Kanako and Iori Nomizu.
Fans of Majestic Prince will have a chance to see voice actors Asanuma Shintaro and Suzuki Chihiro from the show, along with theme song performer Ishikawa Chiaki.
Fans of live-action hero shows will be in for a special treat as Ultraman Zero will be facing off against his nemesis, Kaiser Darkness - the former Ultraman-turned-baddie. His friends Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Leo, Ultra Seven, and the original Ultraman will be there, too.
