Country music trio Rascal Flatts are bringing in the summer with some good ol' country tunes on their new album, Rewind.

The band has not managed to repeat the mainstream success they enjoyed following their 2006 single What Hurts the Most. But they have remained popular among country music fans.

This new album might return Rascal Flatts to the big time. It is filled with a range of emotions, which will have you singing, crying and jamming along.

Rewind features the familiar guitar twang and country-drawl vocals which draw listeners in.

On Payback, a grungy surface sound is combined with witty vocals which poke fun at attention seekers on social media: "Get some pictures on the Instagram and show him what he's missin'," sings lead vocalist Gary LeVox. I'm on Fire, meanwhile, throws you smack-bang into a backyard party - get this on your summer playlist.

As a whole, this has everything you could want from a country album, but it's also catchy enough to stand out in the world of pop. If you're looking for a great album to ease yourself into the world of country music, check this out.
