Commitment, by South Korean director Park Hong-soo, is an action thriller that follows an assassin from the North who moves to the South whose job is to kill other North Korean spies.
Myung-hoon (Choi Seung-hyun, better known as T.O.P from boy band Big Bang), was born into a rich family in the North, but his life changes when his father is killed. His sister Hye-in (Kim Yoo-jung) is captured by a military group. To protect her, Myung-hoon must help out this faction by travelling to the South and killing their rivals, while undercover at a local high school.
The film has some action, but the pace is too slow for what should be a fast-moving assassin film. What's more, the dialogue is cheesy, but fans of Big Bang will enjoy seeing their idol with a cute, nerdy haircut.
