If you're a Hunger Games fan you can't miss the finale in the series of movies adapted from Suzanne Collins' trilogy.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 contains heart-stopping action and all the special effects to shock and awe. Yet … it is hard to forgive the blatant cash grab by those who decided to split what could have been a great final movie into two halves.
This is the part of the saga when Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) turns her single-minded attention to killing President Snow (Donald Sutherland), and must cross half of the Capitol to reach him. Snow knows she's coming and turns the city into an arena for the final Hunger Games. The rebels face danger at every turn, and Snow may not be Katniss' only enemy.
J Law shines as the pure, idealistic and reluctant heroine. But old man Sutherland steals some of the thunder. His last conversation with Katniss is more than evil genius; it's a show of respect for his young adversary and Sutherland carries it to perfection.
All of this action - and there is plenty of it - leaves the romance part of the story to fizzle. Katniss doesn't seem particularly torn between Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).
Neither man seems entirely interested in her either, which leaves things feeling a little awkward.
