You may get a sense of deja vu while listening to the album, as three of the 10 tracks come from television dramas: Change It Over (改變), Step Forward (學著走) and Love, One Metre Away (愛情離我一公尺). These song choices add a sense of familiarity that makes the album easy to get lost in.
If meaningful lyrics matter a lot to you, then most of the tracks can go straight into your playlist.
The theme is what you'd expect from a 23-year-old man. Most of the songs evoke the ups and downs of love - whether the bitterness of a break-up or the mixed emotions of having a crush.
But if you think the theme is too cliche, Away From Home (離家以後) goes deeper, describing the mix of hope and helplessness of leaving the only safe harbour many young adults have known.
No matter what mood you're in, there's a song on this album in tune with your feelings. For that reason alone, it's worth a listen.
