You have probably heard these news terms being discussed in the papers or on TV. Here is how to use them in English:

1. (零雙非)政策 - Zero-tolerance policy

The chief executive addressed how the zero-tolerance policy against pregnant mainland mothers using Hong Kong's maternity wards could affect the city's obstetrics industry.

2. 同胞 - Compatriots

Compatriots in Hong Kong and Macau should emphasise the country's overall interest.

3. 睡眠窒息症 - Sleep apnea

The theme of this year's World Sleep Day is "Breathe easily, sleep well", with a special focus on raising awareness about sleep apnea, a potentially serious disorder where breathing stops and starts during sleep.

4. 被肢解 - Dismembered

The dismembered remains of an elderly couple who had been missing were found in a flat in Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon.

5. 法醫 - Forensic pathologists

Forensic pathologists and detectives were still inspecting the Tai Kok Tsui flat and looking for other body parts.
