As usual, there'll be loads of booths with folks selling all sorts of merchandise; among them will be toy and game manufacturers Bandai, Namco Bandai Games, and Square Enix; cosplay costumers Cospa; and hobby magazine Hobby Japan. They'll have special-edition merchandise on sale, only available at the expo, so make sure you bring any leftover lai see.
There will be a number of great live shows, from ani-song concerts featuring Minami Kuribayashi, Shuhei Kita, Choucho and Sasaki Sayaka. Anime fans are in for a special treat, as voice actress Hirano Aya, who played Misa Amane from Death Note, will attend the expo, and join Okiayu Ryotaro, who voices the title character in Toriko, for a special live chat show with fans.
The highlight is a live Ultraman performance, the first of its kind in Hong Kong. There will be two shows on March 17, so mark your calendars before that light on your chest starts to blink.
Otaku Zone will be there every minute of every day - hope to see you there! Go to www.c3hk.com.hk for more details.
