Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in Canada is ranked as one of the best business programs in the world. From July 3 to 18, Ivey is offering 10 business savvy Young Post junior reporters (aged 17-19) a place in their two-week-long business fundamentals program at its Hong Kong campus.

Students will attend a variety of classes and seminars taught by the Canadian faculty. They will get a taste of this competitive business curriculum and renowned Ivey case method. The program will cover financial, marketing and strategic management as well as organizational behaviour.

Throughout the process, students will be given the role of the decision maker in real business cases and will have to prepare work both individually and as a group to work out what the best course of action is and defend their position. Here, students are encouraged to come up with ideas and action plan and these skills will be put to test on the last day, when they will participate in a final case competition.

For a chance to take part, send an e-mail to [email protected] with “Ivey” in the subject field. Please include your name, age, school and contact details. And tell us in 100 words why you want to join the program. Application closes on June 16 (Thursday).
