On March 12, five Young Post junior reporters will get to attend the “I want to be a writer” talk held by Hong Kong International Literary Festival.

On the day, Aleesah Darlison, author of Totally Twins series, will share her insider’s knowledge on book publishing. She will discuss all about how the industry works, how to prepare submissions, how manuscript are assessed and much more.

The talk will take place from 10:30 to 11:30am at the Hong Kong Racing Museum, Happy Valley Racecourse.

Attending junior reporters will have to submit a 200 to 250 words report after the event.

This is not a Young Post event, which means no YP team member will be accompanying you, and we are not responsible for anything that might happen to you.

If you’d like to sign up, send an email to [email protected] by March 2 (Wednesday) noon. Please indicate in the e-mail your full name, age, school, and contact details. Write “literary festival” in the subject field.

This workshop is open to YP junior reporters only.

More information on the festival can be found at www.festival.org.hk
