Students from the Community College of City University's Division of Language Studies are launching a fund-raising campaign for Humanity in Focus.

HIF is a student-initiated NGO in Hong Kong that builds schools for children in Cambodia.

The students' campaign, "The Cambodian Colours", will be held from January 26 to 28 at City University of Hong Kong's main campus. It will feature an exhibition to showcase the work of HIF and a postcard-making workshop.

Visitors will be encouraged to donate to HIF's school-building projects and become volunteers.

"Students play a great role in relieving global poverty and inequality," said HIF member Elvis Kwong. "Being a volunteer can be a life-changing experience. You not only give, but also gain a lot through helping others."
