On February 12, Young Post junior reporters will get the chance to tour the Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior II.

Hong Kong is the Rainbow Warrior II’s second stop on her final mission, the East Asia Oceans Defenders Voyage. For 24 years, the vessel has been campaigning for a safer, cleaner and more sustainable environment with Greenpeace. She has helped defend the oceans, halt bluefin tuna fishing and prevent Alaska nuclear testing.

We have places for 15 lucky reporters to go aboard Rainbow Warrior II before she is retired. The reporters will not only hear fascinating stories about the ship’s equipment and her exciting history at sea, but will also meet and interview the vessel’s captain and crew members.

Rainbow Warrior II is docked at Central Pier No. 2. The workshop will begin at 10am and finish at 11:30am. A member of the YP team will accompany the junior reporters throughout.

If you would like to take part, e-mail reporters.club@scmp.com by Monday, February 7, with your name, age, school and phone number. Put "Rainbow Warrior" in the subject field.

This workshop is open to YP junior reporters only. To join the Reporters’ Club, visit this page
