Released in 1978 but set in the 50s, the musical was hugely successful, with its blend of typical teenage troubles and irresistibly infectious songs. But unlike so many musicals, its popularity is yet to wane, so it's hardly surprising that it's been re-released as a "sing-along" version.
If you like karaoke and cheesy musicals, you can't afford to miss this. Sure, the film quality is nothing like what you're used to, and John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are clearly not teens, but this doesn't make the experience any less enjoyable.
