Fifth Harmony announce indefinite break as members pursue solo careers
By Karly Cox
As if Camila Cabello’s 2016 departure wasn't hard enough, this morning we woke to the news that the remaining four members of US girl group will be going on hiatus from the band to “pursue solo endeavours”.
Fifth Harmony formed in 2012 to take part in The X Factor. They came third behind country singer Tate Stevens and then-13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar (yeah, we don't remember them either), and were signed to judge Simon Cowell’s record label shortly after.
Here's a throwback to when Young Post got to chat to Dinah Jane about Twilight, In-N-Out burgers, and “that Fifth Harmony sound” *sob*
After releasing two successful albums, the group announced Cabello’s departure, but assured fans the remaining quartet would continue.
Fast-forward a year and a couple months, and it seems they’re deviating from that a little.
